Sink
& Tap
There
are two types of tap,
- a
hand pump type
- an
electrical submersable pump type, works on
a switch on the side of the unit.

Cooker
The
cooking unit is a simple twin gas ring which
neatly folds away, ( very neatly), there is
no igniting system, (so don't forget your matches)
|
|
|
|
|
Heater
The
heater is run off gas and is very effective
once ignited, it soon heats up and retains it's
warmth for a good while after turning it off.
There are two types of heater:
- a
push button ignition, (turn gas on and press
button)
- batter
powered ignition, (batteries mounted behind
front seats, turn on gas and it ignites by
itself)

Fridge
The
fridge in a Westfalia can work on three power
sources:
- 12V
from the vehicle battery
- 240V
whe you have plugged into the mains at a campsite
- Gas
can be used if you pull over for the night
in a layby
